Third World. For how much Longer?

The "First"world as they call it,lives in a bubble.A bubble so fragile,that a whisper could pop it.With walls
laid with bricks of Ignorance.It's astonishing how a majority of the "first worlders" fail to wonder where half their stuff is made,or where their HR and IT professionals come from,where their Sugar and Coffee comes from,where their tech. equipment comes from,where those precious rubies and diamonds come from,where their manpower comes from?


I'm an Indian and I won't speak for the rest of the world because it would be unfair and improper to judge a different place by what you've heard about it.
So India it is.The world is credited for it's Scientific advancements and frankly that is what secures our future.No Doubt many potential countries are ahead of India in this field.But not only because of their skill,but also due to the finance and most importantly the interest.We mustn't forget that India gave the world Aryabhatta,The Digit -Zero,We gave the world geniuses like Chanakya, Satyendra Bose and many elites.
So what happened?Did the Genius in us just fade away?or did it become choosy to be gifted only to the financially well-off? Well obviously not.The same blood runs in our veins too right? But it's just that our present day Aryabhatta is probably a malnutritioned rag-picker somewhere,while Chanakya is toiling in the scorching heat in the paddy fields,and poor Satyendra is living in the ominous shadows of the fire-cracker factory.Why so?Do we lack finance?Don't we have the Money?well that's not a valid excuse because if it were so Mr.Ambani would'nt have been the 19th richest man on earth.It's not the lack of funds,but the wrong use of it that has landed us in trouble.While NASA landed their rover on Mars,ISRO plans to send two of their Astronauts into orbit(A move the Russians made more than half-a-century ago)I'm not blaming a particular sect of people.Holding them responsible and sending them behind bars won't serve the purpose.Not until we make up our mind to change for good.
We belong to one of the oldest Developed civilizations of all times,a civilization not driven by caste or religion,gender or colour,borders or superstitions.A civilization driven by the want to develop,to grow,to make life simpler and easier to live,not to complicate it further.
and Development doesn't mean setting up a few more industries here and there.Development which would help our lopsided structure to stand on firmer and more uniform foundations.Development in the remotest of villages we don't even know names of,where people still exhaust themselves for surviving another day,something some-of-us joke about.
Why are you collecting up hordes of that money?for the future of your children?by compromising on what?the present conditions of their nation?*applause*why send your children to study at Ivy league colleges when you have the ability and finance to improve your country and bring it on par?but yes.How long that might take.and why waste our time?and Money?well that's precisely what everyone thinks,has been thinking and will be thinking for a million more years to come,Unless..we decide to change it.A Revolution.Renaissance.not just wearing Guy-Fawkes masks and shouting slogans.Something Solid.They say we complete 65 years of freedom this 15th.I say "Freedom?whoa.That.is a long way to go"
